Student searching for succes

,,Find the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Somehow they already know what you really want to become. The rest is secondary.” Steve Jobs

Where do we start in the direction of success? What makes some people where they are? We learn another story full of essence given by Robert

,,Before I tell you about the 10.5 km cross-country race at the Timișoara City Marathon, I want to point out that sport brings more than physical strength – it improves health (it can even reduce your periods of fever if you have  fever), brings ideas us and it can transform life.

This competition was special as it was the first time I ran over 10km. I was accompanied by a more experienced but slower running person. Feeling like I could do more, I increased my running pace. Despite the difficulties encountered, I tried not to take breaks and realized that temporary pain can be a lesson. I was guided by the words of Mahatma Gandhi: ,,Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, an hour, a day, or a year, but eventually it will pass, and something better will take its place”

At the end of the race, exhaustion mixed with a deep sense of well-being and the joy of seeing family again. I managed to finish the cross country in less than 59 minutes, ranking among the first 220 out of 532 participants. This success has motivated me to set new goals, including running a 21km half marathon next year to further develop my physical abilities.

The reason I started playing sports and exploring new experiences was the desire to fulfill my dreams, escape boredom and have more opportunities in life.

How did I manage to motivate myself to do workouts?

1. I looked for communities where I could learn new things. I listened and applied ideas and opinions about a healthier lifestyle.

2. After these searches, I watched videos of people who set out to help others improve their lives by using methods that helped them, such as giving up certain foods.

3. I was lucky enough to meet people who shared the same running goals. Feeling like I hadn’t achieved much up until then and having a childhood passion for driving, I decided to adopt a healthier lifestyle and start training.

4. I trained constantly. Many people in the field of personal development argue that in order to make progress both mentally and physically, it is essential that we continue to train and seek to learn new things.

Sport is not just about exercise, it is a way to grow, learn and enjoy progress. This experience taught me that constant effort brings benefits not only physically but also mentally. Just as in video games you want to level up (to get more benefits in those games), sports give you the chance to get better, regardless of where you are in the standings”
