Institutional colaboration
I asked the students from the Faculty of Engineering in Hunedoara to tell us some impressions experienced during the days spent at the Technical University of Moldova, Chisinau, part of the inter-institutional collaboration project.
Spridon….
,,I chose this opportunity to go to Chisinau for two weeks because I like to experience new things, to adapt to unexpected situations and I wanted to meet again with the students who came to us in may.
My expectations from this experience can say that they were the following: I wanted to visit the city of Chisinau to learn interesting things about our neighbors across the Prut, I wanted to see what it’s like to stay at a student dormitory because I didn’t have the opportunity to live in such an environment, I wanted to meet new people with interesting and unique life stories, I thought it would help me in the future to accumulate new knowledge in the field of engineering. All my expectations have been met and I am happy with the knowledge that people have shared with us.
What I liked the most was the experience at the last enterprise I went to where the process of preparation, preparation and marketing of the finished product called beer was explained to us. We have retained the technical processes and a few more details related to how the beer should be stored and bottled. Our visit ended with a tasting of different types of beer and we came to the conclusion that practice beats theory.
From my point of view, I think that in the future the period of the internship could be changed, because it was very hot and we could not take 100% of this experience. Another aspect that could be considered would be the meeting with students from the Technical Faculty of Moldova to be able to socialize and debate topics. Indeed, being the holiday period, most of them were away.
From this experience, in the first part of the day I chose 14 days full of activities and with rest in the second part of the day, keeping a balance. The information and visualization of the technical processes within the visited companies helped me to better understand the theory learned in the college courses. I met beautiful people and made friends.
As for the conditions, the accommodation was good, the food in the canteen on the other hand was not always to my taste because I am more picky, but I appreciated the way I was served. I must also mention that for the first time I drank tea every morning and I loved it.
Our coordinator in this experience was Mrs. Popa Mihaela, the ,,professor” as we call her. We visited the city together, the different companies, and she made sure that we got the best of this experience. We went for a run in the morning to maintain our physical and mental condition. He made sure that we understand each other and learn to accept the people around us as they are. Thanks and appreciation!!
In conclusion, I recommend everyone to participate in such experiences because I have only gained from knowledge and information, to friendships with people around. I liked the city of Chisinau and if the opportunity arises in the next years of studies, I definitely want to participate again.”
