Professional visit of students from the Technical University of Moldova, Republic of Moldova, Chisinau to the Faculty of Engineering in Hunedoara

The professional adventure of students from Chisinau arrives on February 25, 2025 at Continental Automotive Romania SRL Timisoara. A ,,Continental city” where young people smile and work. After a brief presentation of the company by Diana Zencenco, Employer Branding Specialist Communications, the students were divided into 2 groups. After which they reversed. Each group had activities/presentations in the technical departments: Autonomous mobility and Qualification Laboratory.
The tours were guided by passionate creative engineers through several qualification laboratories, thus observing the tests that the products are subjected to to ensure their quality. They were also presented and demonstrated some of the technologies developed and integrated on a car.

Evelin……,, Following these visits, I can highlight the Continental Sibiu and Continental Timișoara companies for offering unique emotions, giving us the opportunity to see the future with our own eyes, to understand how technology and technological processes are arranged and developed in the automotive world. These companies offered us a unique spectrum of knowledge in the field of automation, testing processes and manufacturing of the components necessary to obtain a high-quality final product. During the excursion to the territory of these companies, we had the opportunity to see with our own eyes how a small component can contribute to obtaining a tool and a technology of the future. Automated robots, checks of car parts subjected to various experiments, cars with motion sensors and automatic parking, as well as other engineering mechanisms persist on the territory of these companies with big names and a solid future.”

From safety systems to sophisticated sensors and electronic components, everything was designed to an impressive level.”
Cristian…..,,Another point of interest was Continental Timisoara, where we witnessed a testing process for state-of-the-art car parts. We saw advanced equipment and even had the opportunity to observe an autopilot prototype mounted on a car in action. The engineers here told us how they came to work in the field, giving us a clear picture of the professional path necessary to get to such a company.”
