Professional visit of students from the Technical University of Moldova, Republic of Moldova, Chisinau to the Faculty of Engineering in Hunedoara

The beautiful sunny weather accompanied us on February 20, 2025 in Timișoara. For the delegation from the Republic of Moldova, it was another unique experience, namely the visit to the Nokia Company and a walk through the city’s ground zero.
Nokia Romania, for more than 30 years a strong presence in the technology field, with over 2000 employees in Timișoara and Bucharest, was recognized as the most attractive employer in the telecommunications sector in 2023 and 2024. The company’s products and services contribute to the future of software-defined networks through the largest 5G research and development center in the country. In this context, 80% of the jobs are in software engineering, so knowledge and expertise in IT and telecommunications are important pillars for a career. The remaining 20% of the positions are in project management, finance, customer service, sales, human resources, etc.
