Personal success is the result of constant effort, perseverance, and the desire to improve. For each student, success can have a different meaning, influenced by their own goals, values, and experiences.
The path to personal and professional fulfillment is marked by challenges, important choices, and valuable lessons that contribute to character formation.
Antoanela….,At the age of 18 I got a job at an automotive wiring factory. I discovered that the world is not as I imagined it to be, kind and always willing to help you and help you evolve. People were very bad and everyone pursued their own interests. After 6 months working in that factory I decided to quit because I was stressed and dissatisfied with myself all the time.
I got a job at another electrical subassembly factory. When I got a job at this factory I was totally discouraged and had a total lack of self-confidence. Over time, I started to really like what I was doing and I tried my best to work correctly and quickly. Which I think can be a first step towards success. I remember reading a story on social networks and the moral of the story was that when you work, whether you are building houses or tailoring a coat, always do something as if it were for you. Dedication and correctness, I can say that are a first step towards success.
Then the director who was there at the time, probably saw my potential and decided to promote me to quality control. I was afraid to accept this position. Because I did not trust myself and I was not sure that I would manage. But he supported me, explained to me and guided me how to work and how to do it in such a way that everything would turn out as it should. I can say that a second step to success is to meet the right people. Kind people, who are willing to teach you and guide you.
I started to dedicate myself even more. I started to take care of more things in the factory, not just what was written in the job description. And slowly, slowly I started to gain a little courage and my confidence in myself started to grow a little.
After two years and a little, I received another big responsibility. A client came with a new product and there were three phases of work on that product. From the very beginning, when the clients came to set up the work line, the director kept me and those who came to explain to us what we had to work on that product. After the customers left, the director put me in charge of the supply and organization of that line. Honestly, I thought this responsibility was beyond me. I thought I wouldn’t be able to handle it and that I would fail.
But to my surprise, I succeeded. All thanks to him. Because I saw that he trusted me and that he let me take care of the supply of the line even though I wasn’t very well informed about the merchandise that was in the warehouse. And his trust in me made me gain a lot of confidence in myself and prove to myself that I could. I managed to brilliantly cope with what I had to do and communicate with people.
A third step to success, I think, is modesty and not thinking ourselves superior to other people. If we have a superior position or a function, this doesn’t mean that we have to behave as if we know everything. We must keep in mind that every day we have things to learn and the people we meet may be put in our way for a reason. That is why it is important to be friendly and not to forget that before functions, higher positions, uniforms we are people.
After a short time, the director decided to leave the factory and someone else took his place. Someone who pushed me aside and made me work only in production because I dared to open my mouth and say what bothered me about what he does and how he behaves with his employees. But I was not discouraged. I have proven to myself that I can, I have started to trust myself and even if someone tries to tell me that I will not succeed in anything, I will not give in.
Because I met a man who helped me discover myself and prove to myself that I am capable of many things. And a last but most important step on the road to success is faith.
God always works through people and always brings them into our path at the right time and place. I say this because at work I met two people who insisted that I enroll in college. Who insisted that I continue on the path to success. With time, I may have more achievements, but this is the most important one. That I managed to gain confidence in myself, to prove to myself that I am capable and to no longer be afraid to say what I think.
I am still working on my success, I will always be satisfied with what I have learned and what I have achieved up to that point. And let’s not forget that we are all through our example we can guide others on the path to success.”
